Fall Foliage Festival "Year 'Round"

Funding Request Deadline for 2008 WFFF

The 61st Fall Foliage Festival is scheduled for October 10-12, 2008.  Local organizations wishing to apply for project funding from the proceeds of this Festival must submit a request form by June 1, 2008.

The 2007 Board of the Warner Fall Foliage Festival met Monday, Dec. 10 at MainStreet Bookends to hold their Annual Meeting to consider funding requests for the local community.

Board members Sean Bohman, Suzanne Solomon, Pam Trostorff, Paul DiGeronimo, Kathy Carson, Michelle Courser, AnnMarie Smith, and Denny Roberge presented to a small audience the Treasurer’s Report and list of Funding Requests received.  Board Member Tina Schirmer was absent.  Mother Nature and a fabulous and dedicated cadre of volunteers combined to make 2007 at very successful venture, enabling most of these requests to be considered.  Upon presentation of the requests, the Board and audience voted an approval on the following 14 awards:

(A prerequisite of requesting funding is to be a local organization which participates actively in that year’s Festival.  Volunteers are always needed and welcomed.  The Festival Board thanks everyone involved in this year’s extraordinary Festival for their time, creativity under pressure, and support and look forward to Festival 2008.
